Sean’s talent lies in talent. Sean is passionate about helping organisations attract and retain great people. In a changing world where specific talents and skill sets are needed within organisations, he understands what to look for and who to look for.
My consulting philosophy is based on the belief that the best talent outcomes are achieved when three key elements come together:
- HR and talent management is focused at the strategic level
- Business leaders are clear and equipped to lead people challenges
- HR people are capable and equipped to design and deliver people solutions
I have over 20 years HR experience and over 10 years specialising in the strategic resourcing and talent attraction arena. Before moving into consultancy I led the Talent Team for the BAE Systems Air Support business. In the last five years I have worked with major organisations including Vertex, the NHS and National Australia Group.
My recent project work led the transformation of the resourcing service at the Co-operative Group. I used a strategic resourcing model and an organisation design that introduced talent attraction and candidate marketing whilst significantly reducing resourcing operating costs.
I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD).
